Car started with J's ECU
I doubt it's the air pump TBH.
I can read the code either via OBD2 or via ther service connector, but I'm up in Yorkshire.
BTW no point trying to program a key to a JDM ECU that doesn't need keys coded for it...

Thanks Brian.
When I say that I have to get the key coded - I mean, if I get J's to modify a UK ECU, then I would have to get the keys coded to start the engine.
I am really hoping that the anti fouler device works and clears the code after a reset. FIngers crossed.
Or else I will have to make a trip up to Yorkshire - I did say I would drive the car more

Spoke to my mate in Japan - the response from Mr Uemoto (J's Racing):
1 - secondary o2 sensor is not cut from the ECU
2 - air pump should not affect the ECU CEL
Anyway, many many many thanks to Mark_m, I received teh anti foulers plugs the very next day - I bored out one of them to 1/2 inch or around 13mm.
I then attached the o2 sensor to the anti foulers (used a bit of anti sieze) and then tightened to the straight pipe. (battery was disconnected during the install)
I plugged in the sensor and connected the battery. Fingers crossed and fired her up..................................
ALL IS GOOD. CAR PURRED NICELY. NO DREADED CEL. CAR STILL STANK!!! SOUND IS A LOT DEEPER! AND I AM A LOT HAPPIER!!!!!!!
Thanks to everyone who has helped!
