Some good news and some bad.

Got car started - Brian's instructions worked a charm.

However, the dreaded CEL came on. Now I assumed that J's would cut the secondary o2 sensor but obviously not so that is what is probably giving me the error.

Should I just get an anti folwer plug or send the ECU back to get the secondary o2 sensor cut.

Question for Mugen guys - if you completely remove the o2 sensor - would you still get a CEL?
Sounds like a case of "Out of the frying pan and in to the fire" to me.

How do you know its that? is that just a guess? It is most probably that though. But I would still say take the car to your dealer and ask them to run the code!

good luck anyhow.

I know it's a guess but the only thing that has changed is that I have disconnected the O2 sensor - hopefully it will only be that. I'll try the anti fouler first if not then I will get the code pulled.

Maybe it's just come on because you haven't cleaned it this week?
