Question Caught Speeding...

Okay, so I was over the speed limit. No excuse. Illegal.

Saw the radar, stopped as requested.

"That was 32mph, sir", he says.
"32. Really?" I said
"The 30mph sign was 400 yards back", he says
"400. Right."

No traffic, no kids, no houses, no nothing. 2mph over the limit.

I should have been given a medal, FFS.

Can't see how he could stop you at 32mph to be honest, your speedo could be out and I thought the law allows 10% tolerence for this. Should do anyway.

Really bad luck mate.

If that had been me, I'd have had to bite my tongue to prevent the words "go and catch some real f***ing criminals" emerging from my lips.

I thought that, since speedometers can be out by up to 10%, you might have got away with up to 3mph over the limit. I see this is a view echoed on this thread already. But you're obviously such a threat to society you need to be punished

Hope the penalty's not too bad. (Insurance renewal might be the worst.)
