after fitting my new decat pipe i thought the car smelt a bit rich, however today as i coasted to a junction then pulled away my car left a cloud of blue smoke, then cleared for a while then it did it again in town once, now i'm worried, could this be fuelling or something or is my engine eating itself?

It's dead above 6000 rpm and it's now burning oil...
I'd check the oil level when cold - daily.
ie on a morning and on a flat surface.
They do puff a bit of oil but not that much that you should be able to really notice it from the driver seat.

thats the funny thing, its never been heavy on oil, i rarely need to top it up, its always checked and the oil is really very clean, mind you it is about 1 milometer above the full mark
