Maybe it's me then.

I fitted CAI, Decat, single exhaust, removed sparewheel/tools and noticed zero difference.
That, or a poor choice of after market parts.

after fitting my new decat pipe i thought the car smelt a bit rich, however today as i coasted to a junction then pulled away my car left a cloud of blue smoke, then cleared for a while then it did it again in town once, now i'm worried, could this be fuelling or something or is my engine eating itself?

Maybe, but I somehow doubt it.

After all, even if there was a J's Racing spare wheel and toolbox removal kit, I somehow doubt it would make it more effective, despite you paying

Hmmm.

It's dead above 6000 rpm and it's now burning oil...

I'd check the oil level when cold - daily.

ie on a morning and on a flat surface.

They do puff a bit of oil but not that much that you should be able to really notice it from the driver seat.

thats the funny thing, its never been heavy on oil, i rarely need to top it up, its always checked and the oil is really very clean, mind you it is about 1 milometer above the full mark

If it's above the mark when cold then there's a chance that you could be burning a bit of oil through the crank case breather system - ie it's getting combusted.
