Not that I have found. Cosmetically however I found the thread detailing the use of Nitromors on the 'older cars' centre console to refresh the chipped look with smooth chrome effect and well worth 20mins of your time if you haven't already.

Budgie is cheap. I'd have to query whether he's effective though

There isn't much in the way of cheap "quick fix" mods to this car. Any meaningful power output increase tends to come at substantial cost.

What you mean by "effective" though may go beyond just increased bhp. Getting your geometry sorted is said by some to transform the car. Adding strut braces can also have a noticeable impact on how it feels and handles. Neither of those need cost the earth.

We need to better understand what you are trying to achieve to answer the question though.

Best free mod that you can do in 5mins is take the air box lid off!

Sounds great and easy to reinstall if you get bored with it. No power gains though.

Watch out for hot days though as heat soak may reduce responce/power of the engine

I'd trawl through the forum and look at all the hundreds of threads on exhausts and brakes.

Try the search button at the top.

Best way to decide on an exhaust is to get along to a meet and hear them - can be an expensive mistake otherwise!

Happy hunting!

From what I've seen, changing the final drive seems to give the biggest performance gain for your money.

Chassis braces, few hundred; transforms the handling of the thing.

Cold air intake, a onner.

Proper door speakers, a nifty.

Resite early headlight washer to later switch; squids.

Really simple, yet worthwhile things.

Having just driven a standard MY02 S2000 this morning for the first time in years, I can confirm the following minor mods are missed (in comparison with my S2000):

(a) front lower cross brace - sharpens up the steering

(b) uprated brake pads - the OEM pads nearly caught me out in comparison with the Ferrodo pads.
