Clutch Problem
Well they've declined the claim cos "the slave cylinder had been opened". Not quite sure how they knew that, and the ******* thing was broken BEFORE we did that anyway... AND charged me £75 for the privelege of trying and now i've gotta go mess about picking it up on a trailer.
Cheapest place for a clutch? I dont give too much of a crap what it is i'm now getting rid of the car. I'm not having that a clutch failure on a car that has never been tracked/sprinted, at 17k is percieved as normal so i think maybe it's time i got something else.
This maybe?

Hi Si, didn't realise you still had the S!
When I had this on my first car, it was the clutch fork which needed greasing. Dealer actually did it FOC. There's a bulletin for it somewhere - I printed it and gave it to them.

The clutch is destroyed.. the plate is distributed all round the housing as its broken down. oh well moral of the story is dont try and quickly sort something urself, just put it in for warranty no matter how small a job and get them to pay.
