Default Clutch problems :-(((

Ok guys got a problem with my clutch, basically when I pull away in 1st gear it judders like mad,it also stinks like its slipping.but once in gear it's fine, well I say it's fine-if I pullover it smells like its been slipping.the pedal doesn't feel the same either, the biting point is very low and feels spongy.
The thing that's doing my head in is that the clutch has got about 6000 miles on it,and it's the uprated act clutch/flywheel kit.
Do clutch delay valves play up??
Any help will be appreciated,thanks

How much dead zone do you have on the pedal travel?

Sounds like the diaphragm spring has broken or gone weak

Ouch! Yeah, new clutch time. Bizarre that one - usually the friction plate that goes. I'd be looking at getting a refund.

Ahhh, 2 years....

When you said 6000 miles I thought you'd have had it 6-8 months!

You can see what they say.

I'd say 4 hours for a clutch.

Try bleeding it first. If you've that much dead travel chances are the clutch isn't engaging/disengaging properly.

Suppose it's worth a try,I changed the fluid the other week when I did the brakes(ate super blue brake fluid)
My only other concern is that I spoke to a bloke at helix this morning, when I told him the act clutch is rated at 370lb he wasn't convinced,he started getting very technical and lost me lol,but he basically said I would need something bigger than a 212mm clutch disc,I think I might need a twin disc clutch.
