Yep, most likely this, it's pretty common for track related spins.

Can you use one of these to reset the Airbag warning light (for example) which happened to come on yesterday after some idiot (for example) removed the fuse because he wanted to (for example) use an "add a circuit" thingy to instal a dash camera?

Speaking hypothetically, obviously.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. How do people find out about "fixes" like this?? It's not exactly "Control-Alt-Delete" is it?

Bear in mind these apps dont work on a custom ECU (AEM / Motec etc..)

I use a knock off of a scan gauge. Called Turbo gauge. Monitors coolant temps, air intake temps and a lot more stats on the car and also does diagnostic trouble codes too.

Yep, you can delete a code successfully!
However, if the problem persists it will still throw an error!
If the issue is properly fixed, it will be gone forever!

I'm using the torque app as suggested by lovergroova above together with this OBD reader from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...rch_detailpage

Torque app + OBD II reader they are about a tenner, great investment if you ask me!

Thanks for the replies and advice - I've ordered the reader recommended above - at that price it would be rude not to.

As luck would have it I was near to the non-franchised dealer I bought the car from, so I went in and told the very helpful service manager that my airbag warning light had come on, and he very kindly plugged in his OBD reader and sorted it out for me.
