Coilovers

Tough choice this one. Do I buy expensive suspension through dodgy flea bay from US with no comeback if there is a problem or through a reputable UK suspension specialist?
For the mainly road driving (with some track use) S2K owners reading this thread ring DC Dezign and buy Koni adjustables for

I disagree there, some 400 quid suspension is probably a downgrade from the OEM Honda suspension.
PSS9's are fine for the road they are a road based coilover, look at the spring rates. People buy them as they want to upgrade their suspension but they want to upgrade it with something that is going to last longer than 6 months on our UK roads.
On this car more than others you either do things properly (read expensive) or leave it standard.
The messiah is actually very good i've had my car done multiple times with him now.
On the other hand you could always lower it on some cheap lowering springs and get it aligned at ATS.

The Bilstein B14s are also knows as the PSS, the non-adjustable version of the PSS9. If you're a mostly road and occasional trackday driver, the adjustablilty is a big bonus. You don't have to spend hours setting it up; just put it on hard for the track and soft for the road and you're getting the best of both worlds.

Only the one setting on the PSS9. So I assume that's compression and rebound together, or perhaps it's just the compression and the rebound is fixed.

Defo go to ATS for the wheel alignment though as you won't tell the difference. Sorry I have sinned father all together now:

Can someone rename this thread to "sledgehammer to crack a walnut". Whats going to be next F1 tyres or carbon fibre discs?

Just doing research Got to sell my Civic first. Bloke was meant to be comming round to see it, although he now has money issues. Still if he doesn't buy it in the next 3 weeks, it'll be going in to get all the bodywork done (rear arches and where someone reversed into me) and a respray.
Should sell then.
Still, get all the research done now so when the car goes, I can get all the bits ready for them to go on, then get a full geo setup.
And then it goes into the garage until some nice weather arrives

Just another thought - How does are everyones suspension bushes holding out?
I replaced all of them on my Civic (Without a press) and it was a bit of a PITA job.
Still, apart from them siezing (removed many of them in my time), does the actual rubber stay in one piece for a long time?
TIA
EDIT - Oh, and how is the front camber altered? Front suspension is double wishbone and looks very similar to EG/EK Civic. To adjust the camber I had to get adjustable upper arms.
Did a search and noticed it said it can be done without this? Interested to know how
