Ron, I'll buy you some spade connectors for Christmas

(I know, I know, you felt the solder connection was better ).

Just noticed the dirty marks on your toolkit cover - precisely the same oliy marks I've had on mine for years....until the Easter weekend. 1001 cleaner, very gentle agitation, blot out with kitchen roll - it's come up a treat!
Cheers Craig, i'll give it a go as I tried a few things, but it never came out

Whilst you have the door cards off, it's well worth putting a bit of sound deadening on the door inner skins, and on the outer skin behind the speaker. Made a significant improvement in the bass response of my Focals, even just using cheap sound deadening material.
Where is the best place to put this? How do you mean the inner and outa skin?

Sam

I'm really surprised at the number of people who fit updated speakers that don't bother to soundproof the doors. No point spending more than about

Soundproofing doors, cant say i noticed anything bad about just putting them in, im quite happy, the spacers i made had foam and wood anyways.

Besides i dont want more weight in the car , i was hoping to get around 205-210 BHP per ton
