Default Coolant Gauge

Does everyone else's 04MY+ cars have the coolant gauge sitting just below mid point on their cars when fully warm never reaching the middle of the gauge?

It's very true, the cluster guage remains static even with the water temp values moving between 80 to high 90s.

Mine never budges but my scan guage has a reading for temperatures and I see it go from about 86 to 98.

Just out of interest what is the average water temp reading for the facelift model?

I have an electronic gizmo connected to the OBD port which feeds me with all manner of numbers/readings etc

You've got to love the non-linearity of this car's readouts...temperature, fuel etc

Have they never heard of a wheatstone bridge?
