Default Outside Temperature Guage

Anybody seen a good outside temperature gauge implementation? I saw one built into a rear view mirror, but it looked a little bulky. (My 03 Accord will display the outside temp in the odometer)

I think the outside temp guage is a nice added feature in cars, but wonder how accurate they are!

Wouldn't you just stick your finger up? It's a roadster after all!

I've had pretty good luck with outside temperature gauges in other cars. Sometimes sitting still in traffic will tend to raise the reading, but as long as you're moving they can be pretty good.

I use the top as the outside temperature gauge. If when I get in the car I subconciously put it down, I know it is over 45F. If I leave it up I trust my inner gauge is telling me (a) it is raining or snowing or (b) it is below 45F.
