I made them out of a clear A4 binder, but I don't think they made much difference. Mostly its my left ear that gets cold!

 

I have roll hoops speakers and the wind blockers in both my S's.
Still use the fluffy hat and scarf!

Forget bits of plastic and buy a deerstalker hat. It works but you'll look un-cool

Neil i made some wind blockers and cost less than a quid ( a price a tight git like yourself will be ok with ) but chucked them less than a week later.
