Creaking
Cheers Chippo
Got under there today and had a look...couldn't get the ARB bushes off
Nor could I get the drop links off
I blame it on being ill for my feebleness
I was able to see that one of the drop links was looking rather dry however, so have ordered a set of Fleabay (these are fine btw, £24 for the pair, I have them on the front
)

Excellent Loft, I had most problems with the ball joint threads which were very rusty.
I wire brushed the ends and used loads of Plusgas. but still had trouble.
Now I am not sure but my thoughts on rusted threads are as follows, especially on the threads one often hears of, the bolt/nut cracked open and then seized solid.
My thought is dont carry on, re-tighten, re-clean the end of the thread and re lube , loosen until it get's hard again and retrace the steps until your all the way off.
The other good idea is to give the nut or bolt a dam good tapping with a small fine adjusting tool(hammer)This will help break up corrosion etc between the male and female threads.
Let me know the details of the drop links you are getting?
The bush bolts are a pain to, one is easy the top one I think but the lower one is tricky with out the right length on socket or a decent ring spanner,wheels off is the way to go

If you search for stabiliser links on fleabay, you'll see the ones that I have bought
I'll probably get the car on a lift to change them...I hate crawling under them
They should come off with little fuss as they were removed about 15 months ago when I did the rear bushes (exc. ARB)
