Creaking clutch

Creaking clutch

I pressed the clutch without the car being turned on and heard a squeaky creaky noise from the engine bay!

Any ideas what it is and how I rectify it?

It's probably the spring on the pedal - bit of wd40 stopped mine squeaking.

It might also be the clutch fork which needs greasing, if its in the eninge bay rather than the pedal.

Dealer fixed mine for free! It was sticking too and really pissed me off...

There is a TSB for it somewhere...

Thinking about it the noise did seem to come from the engine bay, but I can't be sure with this car, noises seem to come from places and are actually from elsewhere!

IE Bonnet catch, I searched everywhere in the boot for it!
