Crit'air sticker
Thinking ahead for our next Euro trip, we'll probably need a Crit'air sticker if we go into any of the larger French cities.
does anyone know what one is needed for the S ? I could probably work it out with a little effort but if someone has already done the hard work.
for those that dont know what this is:

You can run simulation here: https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/simulation
S2000s are either Euro II or EuroIV depending on the year - see your V9.
If you are Euro II, then you need a 3 certificate, and if Euro IV then you need 2 certificate
Registration in English is here: https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/demande-ext/cgu

When I got one there were only 3 cities that you needed one for, Paris and Grenoble for definitely I think the 3rd one is Bordeaux. They are cheap enough and easy to obtain so if you are going anywhere near these cities than I would apply for one, we called in at Grenoble otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.

They were almost guaranteed to have one of these cities on Route Napoleon !!
A quick Google revealed it's currently Paris, Lyon and Grenoble.
Others will follow including Lille, Strasbourg and Bordeaux by end of this year.
Up to 135 euro fine without one. So for 4.60 euro its wise to have one.

Same as the breathalyzer when they introduced that. The first most people knew about that was when they visited the motoring kiosk on the cross channel ferry and were told one would cost them ten times what they'd pay for one on ebay.
It's to show what emissions your car gives out. I expect it's a precursor to banning certain vehicles from certain French cities. My poor CRV D-Tech isn't allowed anywhere near the Eiffel Tour any more
