Default Decat

Hi all, i had a Garage R exhaust and decat fitted in July and it is not too long till Mot time.
Just wondering is it worth me speaking to my local MOT station that i have been using for about 10 years and recommended to lots of people if they will put the cat back on for me, then take it off again, i just don't won't them to say they won't touch the car because of it.
I know they will charge for it, or how easy is it to change myself, as i am a bit of a plonker when it comes to mechanics , exhausts, etc!

I just put mine in the boot and told the guy to fit it if it needs it...

'Your just going to take it off if I fit it aren't you'

Cats not been on for 4 yrs and the emissions slip keeps getting lost...

That sounds good to me Hopefully my one will be as good
Just didn't want to ask really as they might tell me my car is illegal and then cause me problems!

I'd put money on it not passing with a decat on.

I used to get my old garage to pass it as they would just attach the sensors to another car and get the readings, however less and less garages are willing to do this nowadays including my old garage.

Well its simple

1. Fit the stock CAT, MOT, then fit Decat.
2. Fit a berks high flow cat 95% of the flow IIRC of a decat and will 'just' pas an MOT
3. Find a friendly MOT tester who will substitute a car in place of your s2000 to get readings.

Thats all really.
