DMS found three ears in my oil and it's whining so worth while changing mine. However it's only doen 48k miles so am a little worried about swapping it for another second hand one which could be the same? What happens if I buy a second hand one on eBay and it whines too? No come back at all?

New from Honda would be too pricey no doubt, so how about aftermarket? What's out there and prices? Or reconditioned?

This must have happened before, what did you do to rectify it? I'm going to the ring next month so would rather go on a functional diff!

Any help would be much appreciated! Only had the car a few weeks and it's costing a fortune haha!

Yeah found a few broken metal bits came out from the diff when we did the oil on his, looks like from the synchos springs inside the diff and the Diff oil was so thin like water, someone probably put some rubbish oil in there before.
