Default A different polish....

I've just ordered Swizol "Shield" polishing kit. The web site is currently only in German, however, the car polish is from Mark Underwood (aka Wax Wizard) who is famous for is "polishing" on ScoobyNet.

Mark's wax formulas are famous on ScoobyNet for removing swirl marks from paintwork. He's a very nice guy who spent an hour talking me through the different wax formulations and recommended the Shield kit due to my wanting to work on the CR-V which is parked outside (it contains Carnnuba + Teflon). His waxes have approximately 50% Carnnuba wax in them! We also talked about the Autoglym range and other polishes/waxes in general. Made me realise I'd been doing things very wrong for a long time and my bottle of Super Resin is free to anyone who collects

The downside to this is that they're a bit on the (very) pricey side..... if you thought Zymol was expensive this isn't a Wax for you

If you want further info then PM me.

Once you've seen the results of using a wax properly, rather than a polish you'll never go back

I've kept my Super Resin for polishing out the odd scratch though. I had a couple of tiny scratches by the soft top, from grit under the back of the hardtop scratching the car when I was washing it. I used a little Super Resin to cut that out of the surface.

I still have some Wax Wizard stuff, it was superb!!
If it is the same guy, then he originally worked for Zymol I believe.
Andy, I am definitely interested, what prices and products are available as my German is non-existant
