my dent is also on that ridge, on the back right wing, about 6 inches back from the door - do we think that going in 'through the back way' will allow them to get to it?

I was about to tell them not to worry, as I thought they'd have to strip out the softop and panneling on the inside..

Dentmaster pride themselves on being able to get to the inside of any panel even if they have to drill to do it. If for some reason they couldn't get to this dent from the boot, I suspect they'd drill from the door jamb into the space. They have long thin tools (sorry) which they can put through the hole and ease out the dent. They'd then touch up the bare metal and probably insert a grommet in the hole which would not be noticeable at all. There's no way I woud pay

Thanks guys - i used Dent Magician and, before they got there, i pulled the boot padding out (thx tiff) to give them an easy run at the dent.

Tif, what are those thin black rods for in the top-left of your picture ? Seen them on my car but haven't really investigated.

They are the springs for the boot lid, I've not seen anything like them before either!

Chaps

I have had a recent scrape on my rear quarter (another story, Volvo bastard) but its on the plastic bumper. Is this possible for the Dentmaster type guys to fix ?

Its a touchup job really (if you'll excuse the expression !)
