Default Dipstick problem

I bought a rocker cover a few months ago from a 2004 car and had it sprayed and fitted onto my 2001 S2k. CyberGook fitted it for me and had a few problems but sorted it. I now have a problem with the dipstick. It has weirdly found itself stuck in its hole and I have damaged the plastic ring around it.

Firstly, I need to replace the dipstick so I am thinking get an 04 dipstick that is meant for that rocker cover.

Secondly wandering what the part number would be for this.

Bloody car!

How did you get an 04 rocker cover on your MY01? Some of the sensors etc are different...I wouldnt have thought that the dipstick would be any different on any of them to be honest. Have you tried taking it out when hot and when cold? How about taking the rocker cover off and seeing if you can persuade it from both sides somehow?

15650-PCX-006 think that is the part number you need.

Yep, looks like it and it says MY00-09 so an 04 dipstick shouldnt be any different to your original MY01

I think only the pcv valve is different. Other than that everything else is the same

If it's stuck you probably have to remove the rocker cover to get it out. By the way, £31 + vat from Honda.
