DIY day!
well, been a good busy day today.
got the S up on 4 axle stands, droped all 3 oils and put some fresh in. took a little time - all i had to fill g/box and diff up was a 500ml oil can with some washer tube on the end to fit into filler holes.
slapped some copper-grease on the front brakes aswell since they were squealing
wired up rear demist (00my, fitted with a glass rear screen, but wasnt wired up). fuses were present, relay terminals present (no relay), switch connector present under center console (green one), and the rear connector present just to the side of the fuel tank. all that was needed todo was run in 2x 1m lengths of wire from this brown plug to the screen terminals, fit an on/off switch and a relay which i have still yet todo.
brake fluid will be done shortly - need a quick 5-10mins help from dad with that one.
roof catches greased (rattling), and striker plates replaced.
2x new sidelight bulbs on the front. one was out and the other was on it's last legs - they aint easy todo are they!!? cant believe they didnt put a little flap there to aid changing bulbs.
and thats it. all 'issues' fixed now and ready for 6months trouble free motoring untill the next oil change!
weather been not tooo bad - warm enough to work in.
