Unfortunately I need to get my bootlid resprayed. Some a**e keyed it a few days ago (at the work car park annoyingly).
Although it's not particulary visible, it has gone through to the metal, and it's about 15cm long. The really annoying thing is that I have just organised trading it in for a new 07 car (arriving in March, can't wait). I reckon if I get it sorted myself it will be cheaper than leaving it for the dealer to sort out (I could be wrong, but I reckon the reduced trade in would be more than the cost of getting it fixed myself beforehand).

City Centre Car Care in Digbeth.
They did the repairs to my car after my sliproad prang. They have a pretty grotty-looking workshop in the rough end of the city centre but they're a good outfit and had a lot of expensive metal in there on the couple of occasions I went in - Astons, Ferraris, Jags and the like.
Don't be put off by the location and by the unprepossessing appearance of their premises!

Many thanks, I'll look them up tomorrow.
Got to admit, it's really irritating having to spend my money sorting out the result of other people's anti social behavour.

So let me get this right.
You are trading a 2004 S2000 for a 2007 S2000...
...but are worried about saving a couple of hundred quid by fixing a scratch yourself.
Mmmmm.

Jovver,
Might be worth giving Mike (or Wendy) @ Horizon a call. I've heard lots of good things about their bodyshop (albeit I've only ever had mechanical work done there myself). HTH
