Default Does anyone know this S2k?

Looking around at s2000's at the mo, got a fee in mind but if I can stretch to a facelift within budget (£6k) then that would be preference.

Although, a nice pre-facelift will always be a preference over a ropey facelift.

I've seen this one but not sure about it, anyone know of it?

Not keen on the wheels or headlights, but could put those back to standard, but it's the front bumper I'm unsure about.

Is it a smoothed UK bumper? Panel gaps look a bit off, could be untoward, or could be due to poor bumper & headlight fitment.

I'm going to call them up to get the lowdown, but thought I'd ask on here as well in case it was a forum car previously.

Probably crashed because of cheap ebay headlights and OEM (look?) smoothed front bumper.

I agree the bonnet gaps look bigger on the n/s and the lights were probably replaced owing to a front-ending of some kind, Bumper has obviously been resprayed but without the care to mask off the outer grilles to keep them black. I'd also expect the roof to fold back further than that.

/edit
...and the wing/bumper gap in pic 11 is a little big too

I reckon that's had front end damage and been fixed on the cheap...

It does look a bit wonky doesn't it. I think I'll leave that one.

Seen a preface gt in nurburgring blue that looks promising, s2kuk member, so going to give that one a call this morning

I would say £6000 should buy you a good PFL with full history, 1 or 2 keepers, non-crashed, all maintenance bills, and possibly a GT with Hardtop

I can't imagine you would buy an equivalent FL for under £7995

there are lots out there with 6 or 7 owners, rust, crash repaired, TCT issues, SO you get what you pay for

Cheers Jay - I've been watching the market for last couple of months.

You do see the odd facelift around the £6k mark, I missed out on one last week that looked very good - but I agree, you'd have to be patient.

Yours does look very nice, just a shame you are quite a long way from me. I'm not adverse to travelling for the right car, doesn't bother me in the slightest, but my other half is quite set on have a nurby one, and we've seen a good one a couple of hours away - going to take a look on Saturday
