You do know that they look different.
I took my front bumper off last weekend and there were a couple of differences to the bumper compared to the instructions found on this website on how to take it off (which were for the older style bumper).
If it helps, there are 2 clips under the headlights and one at the edges of the bumper on the newer bumper.

Thanks a million. I know they look different. I found quite a bit of help when playing about with the search facility on this site. Great stuff. Thanks, Adrian

It does fit but the guys have missed three bits of info out!
1) The front spar behind the bumper need the corners taking off or they press through the later bumper.
2) There are a couple of brackets needed that are not on the earlier cars.
3) The front edge of splash guard on the bottom of car needs modifying to get it to fit the later bumper.
Do a seach on the main forum there is a DIY for it somewhere!

But don't forget it will seem odd and need explaining when you come to sell the car. I wouldn't do it if it was me. Treat yourself to a front lip instead - in fact you could try and "build" that into the cost......... naughty!!
