Driverside carpet

Unhappy Driverside carpet

Right next question my friends... is it just me or have we all got a 3 inch slit in the driverside carpet.. just below your knees over that square ridge that runs across the passenger compartment... whys it there?

aaah just found it on the forum... thanks.. would have thought Honda after building such a great car had done it a little better than that!!

There is a mat fixing near where you describe but it's not a big slit. At least not on mine anyway.

I have the same. But i think it wasn't like that.I believe it happened from the previous owner.

Bet my previous lady owner poped on of her high heels into it when getting in... think ill get a needle and thread out neaten it up a little

That's really interesting that this has come up. My car has quite an untidy slit in the carpet in the same place and it's SO rough-ar$ed that I had up until now assumed that the previous owner had done it! It annoys me and I would like to get it repaired in due course (when I find someone expert in such affairs).

Ditto mine, discovered a few days after delivery.
I just put it down to an oversight, but not impressed though.
As already reported the most excellent Muz mats save Honda's blushes.
