Default Driveshafts

My car has been making a whirring from behind and I think it is the driveshaft as it also vibrates under power. On hander the vibration is worse and on left hander there is no vibration.

I think it is one of the driveshafts. Yesterday I fitted my stock exhaust (nice and quiet - for a while anyway). Whislt under there i had a good look at the shafts.

The left driveshaft is solid, where as the right has a bit of end to end play (about 5mm) and it clunks in and out position.

Is this normal? or is this my problematic shaft?

Cheers

Simon
