Default Driving an S2k without a bonnet

Let's say someone wanted a bonnet. Would it be feasible to drive to them, remove your bonnet and drive home?

Legal? Practical? Possible without risk of death/prosecution/knackering the rest if the car?

Discuss.

Might cause some instability at high speed since the air will not flow over the hood as intended. Not sure on the legality but I have seen it done here in the states.

But really, why would you give someone else your bonnet? That seems odd.

Whetehr it's legal or not I'm not sure. If the police pull you they have to charge with something, what would that be?

Legally speaking is a modification so insurance is one issue.
