Default Dumb question re painting brake calipers

To those of you who have done it

Did you paint (with a brush) or spray?

I can't get the colour I want in a paint tin (in Halfruads) - only spray. Must look harder.

I did it with a brush. Not sure how well a thinner coat would last but otherwise just a bit of masking i guess?

use a brush. buy a kit off ebay. the last kit i got has done 4 cars and could probably do another 4 quite easily.
its useful to get a fine brush for smaller parts of the caliper too.,
