Hi a fellow friend is having some woes with this unit and his immobiliser on a MY08. Can anyone help out with this problem I will pass on the solution as they are working on it.

Thanks Shawn.....Guys basically this is the issue, we wired in an emanage into an MY08 DBW S2000, and we had starting problems whiche were solved for 2 minutes. We removed the emanage put everything back to stock but the car wont start. It does crank but it does not fire up. The immobiliser light, the green key light on the dash keeps flashing.

We tried unplugging the ECU, disconnecting the battery for 10 mins, but nothing, car refuses to start.

Anyone here knows how I can reset an immobiliser before I go to Honda in the morning?

Guys, could the OP's try the spoon trick on the stock ECU ie taking a wire from pin 17 IIRC to ground??

Sorry im not confident my theory is right.

 

Update:

Went to Honda, basically FYI people, if you disconnect the battery a few times over like we did, you make the immobiliser go bonkers. That is why it wont start!

So, hopefully with the black 'Master' key I should be able to start her up again. If not, Honda has to reprogram everything!!!
