So of you were wanting one fitted for a UK car... Si at hendy should be able to get you an OE solution....??

No I think dealers in those countries will buy the system in, not Honda.

Just found a spec for a typical block heater it uses a heater element that consumes 1250W at 120V, that is going to be very expensive to run if it's kept on overnight.

Well you don't leave it overnight, one or two hours is usually enough.
1250W sound very much though, the one Calix has listed for the S2000 is 400W.
