Ok
Just finished a 260 mile trip and it's cutting out even when warm
I think the AEM FIC only works on boost so should effect
Idle
What controls idle and where are the components located?
ICV its down by the side on the inlet IIRC, downards to the right of the throttle cable.

Ah, is your AEM the piggyback one?

If so you are correct that it only works on WOT / boost. Also makes it easier to diagnose.

Given it's cutting out at cold and warm, that makes it a bit easier too.

The main things which can affect idle are:

Vac leak
Lambda sensor shot (quite a common one and will be a bit hesitant off boost)
MAP

Other tips in the link in my signature.
