As most of you will know my engine is in a bit of a state and I'm about to start looking for a replacement head. I've had a couple of offers in my other thread, so I thought I'd better check. Is there any difference in engine, and more specifically cylinder head design between the model years.

I know the rocker cover was re-designed for the 04 MY revision, so was the head it's self?

Ha, i got blasted when i was asking questions.

In a nutshell for you get an MY04 or MY05 engine, thicker springs and different retainers, different oil jets etc.

Think its in the FAQ or check out wikipedia

 

I checked the FAQ and couldn't see the answer. I wouldn't trust Wikipedia if it said the sky was blue

sorry to hi jack the thread but do you know what the difference is between an F20 C and an F20 C2...? apart from the number that is !
is this the cylinder head difference?
or does it relate to the car age/year?
