I've been looking on the internet to see where in the UK sells 10w-30 engine oil.i understand I need 6 litres but all I can find is a make I haven't heard if or motor cycle oil? Anyone point me in the right direction in purchasing the correct oil here in the UK or do I have to go to the honda garage?

Thank you

Reason why you can't find it is because no one makes that grade for a car engine unless you go mineral. Honda won't be able to supply you that grade as its not the recommended grade for the engine and also as its not available.

What makes you think that you need 10W30?

Are you after 10W-30 for your s2000? If not then ignore my ramblings! But this is the general overview.

Engine is 5w-40 synthetic

Gearbox is straight 75w

Diff is 75w-90

If anyone is going to have it, i'd put my money on Opie oils. They keep quite a few odd ball lines so that's probably your best bet

5W40 is acceptable indeed preferred by most and the favourite is Castrol edge, very widely available.

Well spotted Rich.... That was in fact a cock up on my part!

I use 5w-40 Helix ultra in mine, seems pretty price/oil burn/tct friendly

Are people now starting to switch to using the new/rebranded Titanium FST Castrol Edge?

Any potential issues with doing so?

x2 and if you ever find yourself in desperate need of oil immediately, all Shell garages stock it too, albeit a little more expensive than you can get it online.

Anyone know of any good deals going at the moment?

I've been away from Castrol for a while but fancy giving it ago again as it was good stuff, but not at nearly 60 notes for 5L. Interesting comments about Shell. Could be worth a go at half the price.
