Engine tubing replacement. What not to touch?
Because I am easily manipulated by people like Si I have acquired some blue 10mm tubing that nicely matches the Spoon Radiator hoses I also didn't need!
I don't intend the car to be about show, but I now quite like the Spoon yellow and blue combo under the bonnet of my MCB, and want to change most of the engine tubing solely for cosmetic reasons. Question is, is there any tubing that should be left alone, such as Purge B and C or is it all ok to change with 10mm silicone? (I recall reading a thread about some silicone tubes leaking fuel which I'd rather not encourage).
I've already changed the some of the breather tubes and the radiator reserve tank tube and they seem ok. I'm aware that there are loads of tubing throughout the bay, so I guess what I'm asking you learned fellows is what would definitely be a bad idea to touch? Such as breathing, yes. Fuel, no way!
Cheers in advance.
