You think that's bad? I bought my new car with no tax on it, and couldn't tax it yet as I was waiting for the docs from the old owner, and I couldn't insure it without tax either, so had to sorn it, wait for the sorn to finish, then tax and insure, but couldn't transfer the plate from my old car to the new yet, and couldn't sell the car with the plate on it, so had to put the plate on retention for £130 or however much it costs, then as soon as the paperwork came through assign it to my new car. Plus the plate had only been on my old car a couple of months, knew I shouldn't have bothered!

Just got my new plate through the DVLA a week or so back. Ordered over xmas as christmas present from my family. S200 DWT. Easy enough to get it on the car. Got my new Tax disc and MOT cert through last week. New plates on and looking good.

There's holes in your bumper

Hope the police won't bug you too much for the spacing either!

Haha, Yeah. not had any problems yet. Plate was a bit smaller than I thought as well when compared to a standard size, but sits much nicer on the front.
Holes are coverd with some rubber grommets. Should anyone need some that fit perfectly, let me know and I can bring some along to the next big meet (Or JapFest).

Its a custom size plate. 405 x 85

I had to go with 405 wide as the bumper has some damage from the previous owner where the numberplate was fixed by screws. So the width just covers the small indents caused by the screws. Letting is about 3/4 size in standard UK font.
Got the plates made at Fancy Plates. Love them. Ill see if I can find the image of standard vs new size as the rear one is standard size.
