Esso Supreme supply problem
Popped into usual filling station (Esso in Ruddington, Nottm) on way home tonight - down to 3 bars on the guage and knew I wouldnt make it home, to the pub and back 2ni AND back to work in morning on 3 bars...
...anyway, they had no Supreme (97 ron).
So I go out of my way home and drop into the other Esso garage on the inner ring road. Same there - all Supreme pumps covered.
Its a 10+ mile round trip (and in rush hour? no way!) to nearest Optimax station so had no choice but to put 95 in.
Guy inside says "there's a supply problem".
Anyone else having problems or is it just Notts / East midlands??

Hmmm...cheers buddy.
I just emailed Esso (or rather, ExxonMobil) after spending 30 mins going round in circles on their (and related!) website just trying to find a customer service email address or form (bloody webshite designers - they should be made to do usability tests!!)...
Likewise on the Optimax desert - and I totally resent wasting 10-15 miles worth of their product just so I can buy it!!
They should offer discounts to folks who don't live within, say, a 5 mile radius of their service stations...

We have now investigated your query, and have been informed that we are currently experiencing issues with our Supreme Tanks at the Birmingham Terminal. We can therefore only currently refill 3 stations per delivery.
