Just wondered if any of you guys have bought extended warranties ? (If not is there a reason why not, for a car that seems to have had more than its fair share of recalls)

I spoke to Crown Honda in Bushey and their prices at present are on a special promo :

AFAIAA, this cover ONLY the engine (but, as I got a new engine as a reult of the recall anyway, I don't get any extension to my warranty).

Gus, I have the Honda UK extended 3 year warranty with Honda Assistance (AA), there are two versions basically, the one I have states: covers everything but Airbags????? with the exception of wear / tear items obviously (Tyres, brake linings, clutch linings etc), the other is a no so comprehensive cover, basically a two page list of what is covered, but who knows it the 'piston return springs' are covered .

If these prices are for the cover I have then that is a good price as it is normally nearer
