I think there are several levels.. "rolling" the lip, which doesn't really do any damage if done right... "pulling"the arch outwards, which can cause a few hairline cracks in the paint, and "flaring" the arch which is the harshest... I think... apart from possible cracking of paint there should be no damage caused unless the old tin worm has begun to set in

There is a special tool to do this, don't attempt it yourself unless you are prepared to paint.
Get to a custom/classic body shop and ask them.
If you heat the paint you may get away with it but its unlikely.
The fronts have big tabs that hold the plastic liner, maybe thats all you need to move, along with the liners?

You must have some big wheels going in there, my 8.5" +65 with 245/40 fit easily...

Looking to put 17 x 8 +47 & 17 x 9 +44 but dont know what tyre sizes yet.....

Not a fear of me even attempting to do this myself.....

Dont know what has to be done in regards "rolling" or "pulling"......

Rolling is just folding the return lip up inside the arch.
You know, the 1cm lip thats there for strength and so you dont slice your fingers off on the wheel arch
Its folded back upon itself 180 degrees so you get a kind of 'safe edge' rather than the existing 'L' shaped lip.
So, you gain a cm or so clearance.
Pulling actually lifts the arch shape and pulls it out a bit and that will require repainting for sure.
A bit like the look on Audi S4/RS4 arches?

Have a look in the S2Ki 'Special Interest' forums for 'fender rolling'

to a point
I have an arch rolling tool available.
Can't be that difficult if Moggy & Fieldl can manage it
Trick is to warm the paint (carefully) with a heat gun
And go a little at a time.
Front arch tabs can shred a tyre (I know from experiance )
8.5" +63 is a rear and a good fit I have 9" rears in that offset with no issues.
