Yeah, that why mine leaks as well. Been to the local honda and phoned a nearby one as well and they didnt have a clue what I was on about when I asked for Shinetsu grease, does anyone have a part number please as this stuff is like trying to find Osama?
As for tyres on the rear, I have tried the goodyear F1 and now have dunlop sports as both were very reasonable at the time of buying and cheaper than the bridgestones, both good tyres

Mine leaks from the same place and I concur with squeak's theory on hills
The grease is worth the effort, not necessarily to cure this problem per se, but because it helps to "nourish" the rubber of the seals and prevent them from drying out and cracking, leading to even more leaks.
