Default Need some more help

I have to replace front passenger side tyre because of a puncture.
The tyres currently I have are Bridgestone RE050. The only tyre I can find to replace it with is RE050A. The tyres look similar (90%). There is a slight difference in tread pattern and there is no rotation mark on RE050A. The load rating is
W87 on the current tyre and the new one is W91. Is it ok to have RE050 W87 on the front driver side and RE050A W91 on the passenger side? Do I need to replace
both front tyres to RE050A ?The rear is RE050 W91.

Geez never thought changing a tyre could get this complicated.

Hello again

IIRC the RE050A's are asymmetrical (notice the "A") and IMO you should not mix types on one "axle".
The S2000 is kinda sensitive when it comes to tires so I would not even mix types of tires at all, IMO it best to have the same type on every corner.

I would look around some more for a new front RE050.
That is the cheapest solution.

Yeah.. I'm Dutch.

Thanks SpitfireS. Finding this tyre seems to be really hard! After talking to pretty much every shop that might have Bridgestone in this country the closest I can get is RE050 215/45R17 87 W instaed of V. The V tryes are good upto 240 km/h and I am not going faster than that. What problems could I have having a that tyre on the right side W rated tyre in the left?

I agree that the best handling set up is to match the tires. If not I would say you would be better off to match the tires and buy 2 new front tires.
