FI or N/A ?
I really can't decide which direction to follow.
When I first bought the 'S' I thought I would always stay N/A but now the thought of FI and the benefits of all that power on tap really interests me.
Staying N/A and trying to squeeze those extra rampant stallions is expensive and the rewards minimal without any major work.
I'm currently saving for either the Rotrex SC or the new Mase turbo although I'm not brave enough to go first with the turbo as my car is my daily drive.
But now I have the chance of a J's intake and its got me to thinking should I stay N/A and persevere with my existing mods, aim for weight loss and maybe go further down that route.
I always look forward to reading posts by the SC chaps and updates on the RHD Turbo. The total cost of the turbo could prevent me taking that route any further though.
So what shall I do
All opinions and advice welcome

Have a spoon of cement?
So you can harden the f*** Up
Seriously though let practcality decide if its not yourr daily drive or your comute is small, and of course you can afford it get it done.

I can sympathise with your situation too.
I had a S1 Elise before the s2000 and that demonstrates what can be done with weight saving and a modest engine without FI.
but.. my daily driver is a volvo v70 T5 - big, heavy but counteracted by a reasonable-size turbocharger.
I'd suggest possibly a combination of the two - weight saving to start with, working towards adding the supercharger later. That way you'll have hopefully saved the weight that you'll be adding (and more maybe) making the extra power really noticable.
Depending on how you feel also, you might want to get a racelogic performance monitor or something similar so you can see and record the difference the weight saving will make.
I've always had a soft spot for FI engines/power delivery, but having the n/a s2k I have now makes me realise that a standard engine can still be *awsome* at what it does. Honda have engineered our F20c engines to a level where FI is perfectly ok (turbo or supercharged) so it some respects it would be rude not to use the high quality crank, rods, pistons etc we all have in our cars.

if you want more power go FI, there is nothing else that gives bang for bucks, ok you could squeeze 10 hp out for around 30% of the cost of going FI for another 80 to 100 HP
if however you just want a bit more and pehapse a little more mid range then going down the tunned NA route could be for you
from experiance i thought i would never go FI, then went the Rotrex route and was very happy but even now i am thinking of adding a little more power--its addictive and its never enough so think carefully what you want and what you will be happy with 12 months down the road

Listening to all the comments you have made in previous threads, I think you know what you should do!
FI just offers so much more than N/A in terms of power. I know that when I finally get the money together, it's the way I will be going. It's an itch I need to scratch and I think you need to do the same.
In the end it's up to you though mate, Can you live without your car is something goes wrong? Have you got the funds to sort it out of your engine going pop? If so I would do it

I spent a small fortune on NA mods trying to increase the power and reduce the weight and I had taken the car as far as I could without spending silly money.
I had thought about FI before but it was the size and weight of the Rotrex that persuaded me to make the change.
The performance difference between NA and FI is night and day.
