Default Finally the S is back

It has been a month since i have driven my S it has been a bloody nightmare not being able drive it.
The rear left side caliper seized so after a bit of searching got one from an ebay shop brand new. They were really good they called me to check that they were sending the right part which i thought was good.
So on thursday had a day off work so set about changing it, all went really well no problems at all. went for a quick test drive up the A2 after about a mile started getting a judder slowed down returned home checked both back wheels for heat but were cold checked fronts driver side red hot another seize up gutted.
After a little check noticed the front pads were a little low so called my local G&M motors honda dealer to fit new front pads they said bring it in the morning and it would cost £104 and around 40mins to carry out the work.
I popped it down thought i would wait, anyway 2 hours later car was ready they had freed the front calipers and still only charged £104. so was well happy.
I have missed the car badly so been out all day screaming around loved it.

So just thought i would let you know still love the car cheerz.

Good news.

If you think 1 month is bad. Try close to 3 months

Had my s2000 serviced at G&M motors recently found them very helpfull they only charged me £90 to change front pads though. Then again they did want me to have my exhaust manifold heat sheild changed due to small crack to the tune of £340 as you can expect i gracefully declined!!!

£90 for front pads is more than most Honda dealers will charge you. Quite a few will do them under the "Honda Happiness" scheme, even though the S2000 is "excluded", and the charge is £83 for front pads.

See here for more http://www.honda.co.uk/cars/owners/partsan...edpricerepairs/

You guys should give G&M a nudge in that direction
