Default Fitted my new Eibachs...

Raging! Got myself some Eibach lowering springs. Got onto the last corner, removed shock to find its leaking. I'm gutted! All of mine look in great condition except from this one. Called Honda to price two new rears - £380 each!!!

Now I don't know what to do - do I take the springs back off and sell on and go for Coilovers like Meister R or do I try source a set of new rear shocks??

Any opinions welcome.

Get good s/hand pair of rears or full set with low miles is your cheapest option.
£100 is what I paid when the Same thing happened with my Eibach swap

I think I paid around the £100-150 mark for some used 14k mile ones when I fitted my Eibach springs. Replaced the 85k mile ones that were on it as precautionary

Did you just replace them all? Is there any difference in shocks over the years? Mines a MY00.

Springs and Roll bars are different so would guess at damping rates are too.
Matching the Eibach spring rates from the list and go for the dampers that suits,in an ideal world
Regarding Koni yellow with Eibach, they will lower another 20mm = Total drop Front 35mm Rear 50mm with lowering springs
Not sure on the other Koni stock replacement

What's the general view on stock shocks on eibach pro vs Meister zeta R? Search and found mostly conflicting conclusions.

I just drive to work etc. Don't track the car or anything.

The set up on the S2000 is critical ie: Geo,get it right and see if you like them, thought mine was little low at the back ie:30mm lower than oem.
The Ohlins DFV R&T I have on now are very nice and the S2000 deserves them or most High end coilover, they transformed my car totally and are 20mm lower than OEM, Ohlins were tested & valved Specifically on the S2000,not like some Less expensive generic types
my S is for dry days and don't track it,but its one of the smoothest set ups around

I think of them as an investment,= man maths

Much lower than 25mm on the rear and you will struggle to keep rear geo in spec
If you can find a decent set I'd suggest a pair of rear shocks from the same age car
