Default FlashPro Ignition Map

Evening,

Could any honata flashpro owners show me a quick screenshot of their low load ignition timing map?
Both my fueling maps and my high load ignition maps seem good at the moment but i seem to be getting a couple of knock counts from det on cylinders 2 & 3 during low load, which i believe is due to an inblance of flow through the inlet manifold causing these two to recieve a leaner charge. On the induvidual cylinder trim im running 1.7 degree's of retard on these cylinders which is helping keep the knock count down, I never get any det at all on the high load map (between 6000rpm and 9200rpm). I will tweek both ignition maps on a dyno but would like to have a reasonable idea of a low load map to work on for the time being.

PS. I have asked on the engine management forum but dont expect much help as they run F22's

Regards

Dan.

There are a few guys on that part of the forum like Genvi (or simlar ) that really have done a lot of work with these.

Most of the owners here have been mase tuned and probably have not delved to far into the logging. I keep meaning to plug it all in and load the sofware and have a look at some data.

Thanks ninebolts...

Well it was worth a try...has anyone this side of the pond got any knowledge of mapping the F20c?

Cheers

It may be worth trying Richard of TTS in Silverstone. He fits flash pros on his car.

His number is 01327 858 212

Cheers, yeah I was going to give him a ring as i got my flash pro off him but he's at the MotoGP this weekend and then away for the following two weeks. I'll sort it eventually. just seems weird how i have increased fueling trims and retarded ignition trims on the 2 cylinders and they still knock.. might check the injectors.

Do you have an after market manifold?, because of differing designs compared to the stock manifold sometimes due to exhaust scavenging an aftermarket manifold can alter collection from different cylinders thus some cylinders can 'in theory' run a little leaner than others.

Both my exhaust and inlet manifold are oem. Still, even if i had an after-market exhaust manifold i would expect all cylinders to be running very slightly leaner than standard, not just 2 cylinders, unless it was a manifold with unequal length primaries or secondaries.

Sure, which is why I asked. However some S manifolds do have uneequal primaries or elongated but just that alone doesn't make a difference, I'd expect this to be more of problem with the inlet manifold ESP with forced induction.

How about trying colder plugs for your issue? 1 stage colder on my stock'ish S and they were cleaning properly - maybe worth a shot considering your problem?
