Loved reading your post, very interesting to hear how provocative to insults the car or maybe the combination of the two of you are, are you a Chris Evans look alike by any chance?
The car looks great and the colour is gorgeous.
I have had mine over a year now, sans hard top. I have never felt I needed one, during the harsher times of winter would have been nice but I try to keep her tucked up in the garage and use our civic then instead.
Before you get a new soft top fitted, look for the posts on how to remove any burrs from the framework or it may go through the new roof again.

The photos never do an Imola justice. Congrats on the purchase!

The insults fall on deaf ears quite quickly.

Oh yes I remember Mr Hunt loosly holding some coffee beans and giving them a shake, Could be she was so impressed that she was offering you some kind of service. Next time shout out "Thanks for the offer, but I don't have time for your hand job"

Is that the one which was for sale on Autotrader around the Bolton area (if I remember rightly)

It seemed to be advertised for a while but perhaps the Cat D put people off.

Looks nice though!
