Default Found the problem

Well, went to visit Davey today at Honda ( lovley bloke ) got soem fluids changed and got it a once over.

Foudn out that the reason my toe wont go in is because the bush's have seised in the control arm.

So it time to book her in at CoG and let them do there thing.

The question i have it this:

Should i replace just the seised bush;s ?

Shoudl i replace the same bushes on each side ?

Should i bite the bullet and get them all done ?

Anone who has had bush work done, any comment's recommendations ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Let chris have a look at it first he will advise you accordingly.

If you can start spraying the bushes with plus gas , i did this for a number of weeks before going to CG it will help release them.Think i saved three from being replaced because of this.

Chris @ CG is a good guy and really knows his stuff.

Another alternative would be TGM in Fleet.

Don't give the bloke ideas.

I was hoping to get it back before 2010

Seriously though LTB is right - TGM have had good feedback from those who have been.

Chris is great, you'll learn tons if you spend the day working with him. providing he can get the wheels pointing in the right direction the car will be much better. Take him some Caramel wafer biscuits when you visit.

Even a siezed bush can often have some level of adjustment done on it and if it was OK before the other people looked at it or the kerb ran into it then you might find it can all be done without too much needing to be spent.

You can't replace single bushes.

Your main cost probably won't be price of parts, but labour for removing the old stuff. FYI it took a dealer 20 hours to remove my four lower suspension arms for replacement

See the Suspension Bush FAQ in my sig for lots more detailed info
