Default Front tracking...

Just checked round my car yesterday after a sunday wash and polish and noticed that inside on both front tyres is well worn (worse on offside) so guess the tracking must be amiss. I've had the car since end of Jan and done about 1000 miles but if i'm honest its the first time i've noticed the inside of the tyres. Can the tracking be altered ok if the front adjustment bolts are seized as i've read about in a few posts? Dont know for sure even if mine will be seized but guess with mine been a year 2000 then theres a good chance? Got a decent tyre company with tracking facilities in Sheffield who quoted me

Not tracking, negative camber on the front, and it's normal. What you need to do is spend more time going round corners.

Hello Jim, normally the answer is yes it can still be altered but not to the same degree as when the adjustment bolts are free (obviously). The only way to really gauge whether your adjustment bolts are fully seized is by having a wheel alignment. Avoid Honda and QuickFit, use a decent independant!

My stealer keeps telling me my car is in spec, and I wonder if that really is the case as I have a 1999 S2000 that is my daily driver and has seen ALL weathers!!

Mine seem to be wearing pretty flat across the tyre.

Alignment is probably out.
