congrats. finally! enjoy and forget about the 8 wasted weeks and hope the weather picks up. Good luck

 

collected it last night. the dealership had offered me a replacement car but my car was fixed more quickly in the end as it turned out to be a dodgy lifter. Its fantastic to have it back. i do deserve to have my wrists slapped as i had to just check once that vtec was engaging properly.... but only for a very short period in one gear only.

saw my old engine last too. the head was absolutely mullered. looked like someone had taken a cold chisel to the inlet valve seat and the bores had massive great gouges out of them too.

its great to have to back. looks like the sun is about to come out too.

oh and they have given me a free service as way of apology for the delays. including the 2 i was given when i bought the car i now have 3 free services and i haven't had to get it serviced yet. i'm aquiring them much faster than i'm using them!
