AE got his feathers all mixed up.
He started to make the same point you started in the other thread. When I pointed it out, he thought they should be merged. The big bird is a bit tired tonight, I'd say.
My post saying re-post does not make sense any more in the merged thread.

Stupid people here in Weston Super Mare. Panic buying. I had to buy as my fuel light was on - otherwise I would not have bothered. The queue was amazing long and the police were in attendance. They had 9000 litres of fuel in the station it sounds a lot but it was pretty much gone inside 2 hours. The fuel truck pulled up just as I was paying and was flanked by a police escort he was 10 hours late.

trouble is, if you know you'll need petrol this week, what else can you do but buy now?
